Dividend Passive Income Reveal January 2023: Dividend Unboxing

In this Dividend Unboxing video I reveal all of my dividend passive income for the January 2023 I find dividend income streams highly motivating. Not only do I receive income from stocks and shares, but also Premium Bonds through National Savings and Investments (NS&I). I have the full allowance of £50,000 and I use it as my emergency fund so I don’t have to sell my shares and I can let the dividends compound over time. My share portfolio consists mainly of UK large cap companies which I tend to hold for the long term, following the principles of Warren Buffett, reinvesting any dividends I receive. In more recent years I have added a variety of Exchange Traded Funds to my portfolio including ishares FTSE100 (ISF), S&P500 (IUSA) and a Vanguard All World High Dividend ETF (VHYL). As time goes by the power of compound interest starts to take effect and the passive income streams start to accelerate. Passive income is money you make for doing absolutely nothing. This simple plan I follow will hopefully enable me to achieve financial independence and give me the opportunity to retire early if I choose to do so. I prefer to invest in large cap companies with have economic moats, large cash flows and strong balance sheets. These companies generally perform relatively well during economic recessions. I use the Barclays Smart Investor platform for my share portfolio and I make good use of a stocks and shares ISA to protect my dividend income and any future capital gains from tax. Finally in this personal finance video, I reveal all the upcoming ex dividend dates, payment dates and highest yields in the FTSE 100 in addition to revealing all the shares I have bought and sold this month. The companies mentioned in this video and current holdings are NS&I Premium Bonds (50k) Tate and Lyle (7.5k), National Grid (14.2k) and GSK (15.3k). Shares which I have been buying this month include Rolls Royce Holdings, Diageo as well as the Exchange Traded Funds IUSA and VHYL.
