Our Next Big Financial Goal: Achieving FINANCIAL FREEDOM!
Sometimes this is called Financial Independence or Financial Independence Retire Early or F.I.R.E. for short.
It's basically saving up and investing as much of your income as possible so that later you are able to stop working earlier. Some people aim to stop working by 30 but for us we are aiming for our mid forties. That will be 10 years from where we are now.
This was never my plan to work on after paying off debt but talking to my husband about our future really changed my mind. It would me amazing to be financially free and work OPTIONAL. Choosing the work we do and how we spend our time in the future would be amazing.
