This book is Get Good With Money by Tiffany Aliche aka the Budgetnista. Its the perfect book for a beginner as it gets you the step by step plan to follow and explains the different financial terms in the easiest of ways. This is also the perfect for moms to get their finances together. It really does not have to be so complicated.

Our family was drowning in debt and literally did not know much about finances. When we became parents, the debts kept increasing. The anxiety and depression was so bad. We knew no one is coming to save us so together we worked our way to debt freedom. We started investing and building wealth. So I know the journey, I can relate and am still on it.
